Pretty sure the nuts-slapping-on-the-chin Iowa beat writers will spin Conner's issues to him having surgery on both hips and that he probably should have taken a medical redshirt as he just hasn't fully recovered from it yet.

When did he have this surgery because last year wasn't much better at 3.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game? The per 40 minutes numbers are almost identical, its just that Connor is finally not regularly starting and only averaging 16 minutes a game.

I almost feel bad for Connor. It’s gotta be embarrassing when teams just leave you unguarded and you miss horribly and then the crowd groans as they know you don’t deserve a scholly.

You know, there are guys that you love them when they’re on your team, but hate them when you play against them.

Usually it has to do with them being an effective player to go along with the attitude.

That’s just not Connor. Not even sure Iowa fans like him, but that has more to do with his limited skill set.

They don't like him. Go check out the Iowa Rivals board. The fact his own fans hate him is what makes it even more enjoyable.

There has literally never been a combination of players whose egos and antics are so egregiously disproportionate to their on court production than Jorbo and Connor.

normally the instigator types and $hit talkers that other teams hate are actually good. At something. But not them.

This is all made possible by the CR-IC Hawkeye circle jerk bubble that they grew up in where they’re still worshipped by die hard Hawkeye fans and local media.

I do not feel bad for either of them in the slightest because neither could be a worse person.

This was mentioned in the other thread that the TV crew said teams have to back off him because of his versatility.
