That sucks! I do enjoy a Superdog, but I think I like the gyros more!

The gyros are just, how do I say it, unique for a quick serve food cart? Don't see that type of food at too many places like that.

I always got tobasco on mine.

Sad day. I would always split one with a friend at bar close to gear up for after hours. It was a hot dog, ketchup, mustard, cheese, pineapple puree, chips. Am I missing anything? Might have to recreate these for the UNI game

Early 00's gyro man was some of the best times in my life. No veggies, double cheese was our jam. Before Goodman became a politician. Before it become a real business. Just a dude and a cart.

I was too old for Superdog. I had it once right as we left school, and it was okay.

Ditto, many nights getting the gyro.

I don't think I've had a Gyro from Ames since 2005, but they were definitely a staple walking home from the bars. I feel like it had to have significantly changed in that time anyways.

Late 90's for me. Pretty sure I can trace my love of all Greek food back to one night after the bars deciding "why the heck not" and trying a gyro for the first time.
