Interesting story about Campbell lashing into the players at the Iowa game definitely was a low point. It will be interesting to compare our performance at the start of the season now that the staff had been in place for a year, can't wait.

Agreed. That was the first I had heard about that from Campbell. It will be interesting to hear more as time goes on.

Just down by the pool at our condo at LOZ and witnessed a Husker fan ridiculing a Hawkeye fan unmercifully. Hawkeye pointed out that the Hawks had won the last two games and it only got worse with the Big Red AHole saying they win national championships and the Hawks win bowl games. I suggested to the Husker he needed a Tshirt that said Living in the 90's.

Yep, the Husker fan was wrong on both counts.

I made the continuity argument with Messingham as OC because I thought continuity was good. It didn't work out well.

Interesting stat from BB was that over 50% of teams last year averaged over 30 points a game and, of course, we were not one of them. Last ISU team to score at that rate was the '76 team. The % of teams scoring at that rate was probably less than 20. Shows just how impressive that team was. The best of all time, IMO.
