I have monster cable hooked up to my powered sub but as it turns out 400 watts is a little much for the neighbors.....and cops:no:

I should crank mine up and see what they think. Here is what I have right now:

All the professional installers here run RG6 in the walls for the subwoofer cable. They have a special tool to compress the ends on. Works very nice so u have your exact length.

Are you sure it is rg6? That is coax cable and not rca cables like normal sub cables are.


Ok, I googled it, you guys are right, there is actually rg6 subwoofer cables, I had never heard of that.
