Shotgun "Dead" Snap Style

So, are we using the dead snap? Is this how Good-Jones snapped in the spring game? Maybe someone here noticed. (At the 2016 spring game, we noticed a lot of bad snaps, skittering too and fro often.)

Just looked at the spring game highlights on Cyclones.TV and all the centers were using the traditional spiral snap.

Lots of high school kids use this.

If not for this thread, I would not have noticed that on the tv show Bull this week, the opening scene was of a high school football game. The center used a dead snap technique. Was someone on the set that in-tune with football to make that so, or just a coincidence. (A rhetorical question, doesn't matter, just a note of slight interest.)
