I waited all day to watch Seneca tonight, but learned that he didn't dress for the game and that he will be released. Bummer!:arghh:

That sucks, but what did you expect? A lot of teams only carry 2 QB's now, and he joined the team like a week ago. Not really high hopes. But if Kaepernick goes down, they'll probably call him first--he's mobile, and at least went through some practices, so he would make a good short term backup if needbe.

One would have to think the Jets or Bills would be interested in his services.

I was hoping to see Wallace tonight too. Very disappointed, Colt McCoy is a lousy fit for the 9ers

So not cut, but looks like he is retiring from the NFL.

Booo. I was hoping he'd make the roster. After the announcement that Wallace had been picked up, they were talking on KNBR (San Francisco) about when the last time was they had an "impact" Cyclone player on the 9ers roster. They couldn't think of one. Gotta think Seneca would be a much better candidate to be in the 2nd QB spot than McCoy, but they never asked me. =P

This article says nine years, which seems like it should be correct.

During the radio broadcast, the 9ers announcer said he didn't travel with the team for "personal reasons" and was a no show for some QB meetings. Bummer.
