I'll be honest, I expect Sark to turn things around there. I was hoping they wouldn't make this hire, but good for them. I think he is a quality coach. I have a ton of respect for anyone who has overcome their demons, it shows he has a level of discipline that many do not.

If you have the budget of Texas, this is absolutely how to do it. Spare no expense, and make recruits know that he is here for a while(even if contract length doesn't mean anything in reality)

You have to have a standard of discipline than you do not waiver from. It's not an easy fix culture wise because I think that program is likely filled with entitlement. However, just from working through his addiction, Sark has shown that he has far more discipline that Herman.

Amazing that Sark essentially put Bijan Robinson on the shelf for the TCU game with a meager12 carries. He destroyed K-State with 30 a week earlier. Sark is like so many coaches, he sees himself as the smartest guy in the room and thus makes some stupid tactical mistakes throughout.
