The number 8 play this morning was Sage's TD pass to Andre Davis on Sunday. The SportsCenter announcer (not sure which one it was) said "Sage Rosenfels, look at that Iowa State Cyclone Pride...."

That was a weird quote. I hope it was complimentary.

    "Iowa State Cyclone Pride."

I wasn't sure hwo to take that. I'm thinking it was a shot.

I'd love to see him in Viking jersey. Does anyone know what kind of contract he currently has?

go figure...we have votes for seneca going to 1) Minnesota 2) Kansas City 3) Chicago and 4) Green Bay. you would think we were located in the middle of iowa or something.

Yeah, weird. Kinda like the game a few weeks ago between the Bears and Vikes, Kenny Mayne says "who do the people in Iowa root for?" Reason #326 I love Kenny Mayne on Sportscenter.

With Sage and Seneca, Iowa State is soon going to be known as Back-Up Quarterback U. So it's not Linebacker U or Running Back U, but it's something I guess.

Wasn't Doxzon even a back-up with Miami for a few years?

Best summary I could find on Doxzon:

Los Angeles Xtreme Roster: Todd Doxzon

    I like this:

Replaced Dan Marino at quarterback in Dolphins 27-14 victory over Indianapolis Colts… Ran the option to pick up three yards and a first down on fourth and short situation…

Sage and Seneca have done nothing but good since they've left here. Not surprising after the careers they had here.

Each of them has made a mark on the NFL, Seneca is so valuable the Seahawks refuse to let him go and Sage just makes it wherever he goes (Washington, Miami, Houston).
