Ron English is Available?!

I guess I figured it was coming, but I still find it kind of shocking that they let Ron English go. He'll have a new job in a matter of seconds.

Nice of him to wait until after Christmas. It He could have just waited until a few days after. It would not have killed him.

You're right--I didn't even think about the timing... That's absolutely brutal.

He gets paid for the next 2 years even if he doesn't work and will have a job the minute he wants one... don't feel too bad.

I don't think anybody was too shocked by this. So why not just get it over with, so the guys can start looking for a new job if they want one next year. And like mentioned above they get paid for the next year even if they don't work I think they will all be just fine. I'm sure they wanted to stay but knew it wasn't going to happen.
