Indian Hills Community College Athletics - 2013-14 Men's Basketball Roster

I wonder if CFH is looking at this kid? Bobbitt is a 6-3, 205 lb combo guard. He leads the team in points 16/g, rebounds 7/g, assists 6/g & steals 4/g. Indian Hills is currently ranked #1 in the nation (11-0) and has 3 road wins over top #10 ranked teams. Look at the games he had when Indian Hills played these 3 ranked teams...

#8 College of Southern Idaho - 13 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists
#5 Chipola College - 17 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists
#4 Northwest Florida State College - 10 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 steals

I wonder if he was part of the IHCC group that was at the Michigan game. I think there were 3 guys in maroon colored sweatshirts there?? Hoiberg may have the fast track to Hills on recruiting now. Hogue is certainly representing and Mckay will showcase himself next year.

I hate to say - If we don't land Vaughn, he may be a piece we could use next year.

I would think we'd consider him especially if RV goes elsewhere. We are one, aggressive scoring guard away from being off the charts next year, with our returning front court.

It's possible that this person develops from within our current group (Thomas, SDW, Naz). Those guys are nice players, but I'm not sure they currently have the aggressive scoring mentality of say a McGee, Kane, Scotty, etc.

His tape looked more impressive than I had expected. Could be another McGee (in terms of impact), or he could end up like KJ. I am glad we have an evaluator like Fred to make the decision.

The nice thing though is that when McGee game in, we HAD to have him come in and be that solid 6th guy or honestly we'd only go 5 deep lol. On paper (doesn't mean anything I know) we are already 8 solid deep, possibly 9 next season without bringing anyone new in who isn't already here. Fred can look at it as a way to move scholarships around, etc or even look for a kid who might need a year or two before he's ready to play even as a juco guy. The best part is, its not like this is likely to change baring something drastic with the current roster or custer/mckay.

Just by looking over google, I see he took a year off of basketball and left Indian Hills but returned. Comments say he wanted to go back home to play basketball and got out of shape and had to go back to Indian Hills. Also, Marquette appears to be the only team that has ever shown interest in the kid, but don't think it's been much.

If he goes to IHCC Fred is looking at him.

Phase 1: Get amazing transfers in
Phase 2: Make the NCAA tourney
Phase 3: Bring in Top 100 recruits
Phase 4: Rediscover the Magic
Phase 5: Lock down IHCC for ISU because they just have straight ballers down there
Phase 6: Bring in Top 10 recruits
Phase 7: EAT

IHCC has several interesting prospects, both for 2014 and 2015.

2014:
Winters- 6'6" g/f. I believe he was committed to Baylor at one time. He ended up averaging around 10 ppg for Duquense last year. Was suppose to have an official visit to Butler in the fall but it was canceled.
Bobbitt- looks like a decent athlete with good skill.

2015:
Washington- 6'8" forward
Malik Dime- 6'9" forward.

I hope they get up to Ames for unofficial visits as much as possible to scrimmage against the guys. It worked in evaluating and getting Hogue and Amardi- two guys that are, or would be, having a big impact on this year's team.
