Having Rock early makes me feel better about the post position for 2024-25.

The scholarship chart for that season as of now is this --

There's still one open and a high probability Omaha will depart for the NBA after one season, which would leave two open. Other changes could of course happen but they're harder to predict.

Milan with a year under his belt and Rock with a redshirt year in Ames looks at least adequate for the "center" position. Sophomore Milan and true freshman Rock wouldn't seem as dependable.

Seeing it in a chart like this helps it hit home how massive it is to have three elite big men coming in. Those guys are almost impossible to find in the portal, so getting them out of high school is critical. Can't speak highly enough at this absolute haul of a class Otz & Co. pulled in!!

The only thing that kinda stinks is he loses his recruit rankings otherwise this will be amazing for his development.

Milan is considered a center?

I made the basketball scholarship chart based on a football one that seems not to be online anymore. With football, the position of a player is pretty "set" and standardized. Yeah, sometimes a guy might switch from quarterback to receiver or D-line to O-line and some defenses don't fit well into the DT/DE/OLB/MLB set of descriptions common in the NFL, but at least it is usually pretty clear what a guy is any given season.

Basketball is... fuzzy. I've done by best to slot guys as best I can while keeping with the visual design of having no more than two players in the same "position" in the same class. Is Milan a center? Was Georges? Was Ejim? Was Vanderbeken? There are all debatable. All of them were some of the tallest guys on their teams and had flexible offensive games in various ways. Milan is one of the taller players on the roster, and if you want to make any of your own mental adjustments (e.g., Milan is more of a wing, maybe Paveletzke should be thought of as a de facto backup PG to Tamin, etc.) then feel free to do so. I just did the best I could to fit him.

:)

SIAP but 247 class ranking for 2023 updated to 10th

Edit: technically 9th, but they have “Professional” listed as one of the teams ranked

4 games is only football. Basketball red shirt is burned with any playing time.
It isn't only football. Wrestling also allows freshman to compete a few times and still red shirt. I think the limit is 5 events for wrestlers.
