I remember watching this guy. He was the best D lineman I’ve ever seen wearing an ISU uniform.

He was in several Ag Mech classes I was in. He was a big man. He filled the doorway coming into class. Good guy.

Sacks weren't an official stat then, so there was a lot of inconsistency in how things were recorded.

I think it was Maynard that worked at the airport and had the accident. He passed in 2022.

Students used to take a ton of oranges from the food service to the game and throw them on the field after an Iowa state score. Some numbskull threw a banana on the field. Mike threw it back in the stands.
