Could someone please spell this out for me? I assume this is based on favorable posts for ISU, or is it for accurate posts? Is there a grading system that is used? Or is this statistically derived? Is there a penalty for stupid questions (like this one)? :unsure:

Pretty much what dormeezy said. Everyone views it differently. I try not to go - on someone unless it's really out of line or crazy.
The concept of rep is awesome and it was really good for a while. I don't think the feature is bad now, but I do think it's become rather watered down.

Got a point? Seriously, couldn't care less about the rep at this point (other than abuse of the feature, that's pretty sad/annoying).
I care a lot more about my credits and how quickly I'm losing them at the hands of betting on ISU basketball.

good ole rep. easily added or taken away. I havent gotten any new rep of any kind for a long time though. oh well. I did loose 50000 credits on last nights game. im crushed now.

I think the ratio on how many credits you get for rep points granted to ya got dropped - but I have no idea what the formula actually is.
Probably takes a calculus degree or a case of beer to figure it out.
i guess im gonna have to figure out a new way to recover the 50000 credits back. got any ideas. I havent gotten any new rep for a long time so that was supposed to be my answer. ill be coming up with a new strategy. I need OU to cover the spread
