NO I AM NOT SAYING THIS CALL LOST US THE GAME. IN FACT I THINK A FOUL WAS CALLED.

I know this should be in the game thread but I see this time and time again and it pisses me off to no end. How does the gray haired ref not call the foul an Acy when McGee was driving? The blown calls like that should cost them their job or at least pay.

Some people need to read a post for what it says and not what they think it says.

Good grief. Baylor had 12 team fouls, same as ISU. Baylor shot 8 FTs, same as ISU. How much more even could officiating have been? We got outplayed in nearly every phase of the game tonight, refs didn't have anything to do with that.

Refs are morons. It takes either a vindictive former jock a-hole or a complete moron to do that job. Everyone knows it, its been discussed at length. /thread.

I hate the way refs are calling charges this year, but that's every single game.

I still think, in general, college refs suck ***, but whatcha gonna do I guess.

I dont care if it was ISU or Baylor. How does the guy miss that call? Its the same as the guy missing the goal tending for West Va vs Syracuse. This had nothing about the refs costing us the game and everything about a guy watching another player get knocked on his *** and not making the call. Its their job and they are getting paid to do it correctly. For those of you who were whining about whether I thought the refs cost us the game maybe you should read the post before you fire off something stupid like you did.

Officials were pretty even for both teams. I do agree that this crew needs to be schooled on controlling the game a little better than they did tonight or someone is going to get hurt.

I dont know that they missed many. Its just the infraction right in front of a ref who is WATCHING the play and misses it. I just dont get it!

I thought this was one of the better officiating this season. They were letting both teams play on the perimeter and interior. They only called fouls when someone was run over or it affected the play on the perimeter. That's how a game should be called.

This definitely is true. They were consistent the entire game. They allowed a lot of physical play and this allowed Baylor to use their length and size advantage. What cost ISU was that we couldn't make the wide open three's we normally make and Baylor making some tough and clutch shots.

You would never know that by game day threads (or Clones21) - according to them the refs hate us at Hilton as well.

Anyway, refs did not cost us this game. Our inability to hit wide open shots and shots in the lane as well as Baylor's ability to hit shots with hands in their faces is what cost us the game.

They did call the foul. I think the ref underneath should have called it too but at least it was called.

Thanks to you and CyFreddy. I was not complaining that the refs cost us the game. Poor shot selection when we were making a run cost us the game. I just dont understand how a ref can be watching a play and miss something like that. I know they are human but he had to be the only one in the state that missed it. Besides Acy who had the nads to actually ***** about the call.
