As in "jot or tittle" from Tindale's translation of the bible. Refers to the tiniest elements in writing... such as the dot above the "i " ...

I thought a good alternative to sifting through hours of crap in monster threads would be a "quick hits" feature at the top of the page of which thread you are in...
this would be mod operated and pretty much just post "the facts" or important information to the topic at the top of each page. You could post links to articles important to the thread topic or just what is known. This allows guys like oldgeezer to get all the info he would be really interested in right away and sift through the nonsense and if he so desired look through the thread...
