Recruiting Dominique Buckley's younger brother?

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but via FREE information it looks as though we are recruiting Dominique's younger brother DeAndre Buckley at SF for the 2009 reqruiting class. I'm assuming this because of the same last name and both being from Romulus. :wink:

He is a fall back recruit. Possibly even a walkon with a chance to earn a scholly. He has skills and would be a good pick up. Right now though we are going after a bigger fishy. See the Rodney Williams Thread.

I'm a little surprised though, Chris Williams said he was really pressing and looked really raw at the Elite Camp this summer. However he was a sophomore in high school so who knows. He did say that it was his goal to play for ISU though, and I always love bringing on guys that really want to be Clones.

We are "recruiting" dozens of players who will never get offers. We are recruiting him but will probably never offer him.

True. I recall Chris writing an article about him stating that he wanted to be a Cyclone and play with his brother. If he continues to improve, he might have a chance.

Thread highjack: I thought we were after recruit, Lavonte Dority, 2010 point guard out of Chicago. Last summer I read somewhere (I thought on here) that he received an offer after the Elite Camp- was that just a rumor?
