Prove it. People are saying they have sources when even Vaughn has admitted that nobody knows anything. I bet you also believe that the Rapture was going to happen a few years back like that one lunatic predicted. You're saying people have sources, yet they can't prove it. You don't need sources to figure out RV is going to UNLV. It officially became a done deal when it was disclosed that he was announcing his selection on CBS Sports Net, home of the the MWC. UNLV steered RV to announce it there. The B12 doesn't have a deal with CBS Sports Net.
Also, most here are WAY too emotionally attached to uncommitted recruits and I'm sure that immaturity will be displayed after his announcement later today.

Boy, if RV goes to UNLV and last night's debacle...not the best two days for ISU basketball. In both regards the program will be just fine, but it always feels like once we get a little momentum going a few nut shots bring us back to Earth.

That's almost as silly as me implying that it's on this particular show because Wally Szczerbiak is good friends with Fred. That is every bit as valid (and delusional) as your assertion.
As far as the meltdown, I am quite sure that the optimistic/positive posters will not meltdown. It's the Debbie Downers of the world that do that.

I'm not sure it would even be legal under NCAA rules for the school to arrange TV coverage of a recruit announcement. The schools can't really have any involvement until the LOI is signed.

So just because he says UNLV today or UNC, he can't sign for 2 more months. Plenty of time for Fred to flip him to the good guys.

I don't know if it's true or not, but my buddy said that the losing coaches just got emails from his handler thanking them for their interest, but he won't be going there.
Seems like he'd call them, but I've never been a top 20 recruit.
