Maybe they'll sleep early? That wonderful feeling when you find out your MIL still has the kids out at a pumpkin patch at 2PM so you are going to get to go home to a two year old that hasn't slept since 6:30AM. Then she tries to smooth it over with cute pictures of them.
Maybe they'll sleep early?
YIKES
You have my sympathy...We will see but MrsWx works tonight so I am outnumbered.
Sun was out all day.
66 degrees and dew point of 37 and not windy. WTF is going on here. Got a ride in and made my 1000 miles goal for the year. Modest by real bikers standards but I am an old man so am relatively happy with that.
Saw two Riley dogs and some purdy fall color.

'didn't let the baby sleep'.......my mom and the other grandma watched niece a few weeks ago (so niece was like, 2 months old.......0 weeks adjusted??) and my mom handed off at 6pm, found out later the other grandma didn't let the baby go to sleep until 11pm. And she'd been up a little bit with my mom. I'm like holy ****, 5 hours at that age? I would have killed that woman. For those who don't recall the minute details of newborn fog......their wake window at that age is 90 minutes.
The concert was great. Joan Jett can still really rock it at age 61. Heart was excellent also, although Ann Wilson struggled some with the high notes - she had pretty much run out of gas by the end. Their first encore was a note for note rendition of the Led Zeppelin classic Stairway to Heaven.....I'm not normally a fan of anyone doing that song other than the Zep, but they aced it. Second encore was (How Do I Get You)Alone, and they ended the night with, of course, Barracuda. Earlier they started singing Heard It Through the Grapevine, and morphed it into Straight On, which was cool.
Joan Jett did a couple fun things, too - their rendition of the Mary Tyler Moore theme, and a rockin' version of the old Tommy James classic Crimson and Clover. I think Joan had a cold or something - she kept turning around to blow her nose - but you'd never guess it the way she sang and performed. The audience loved her. I daresay the energy level was higher for her than for Heart.
I'm sure that song is just asking for a high five.Jett’s music has more driving beat. Although listening to a 65ish year old women asking “do you wanna touch me there” isn’t something I’d normally care to hear.
Saw them in Milwaukee in '78. Cheap Trick, Journey, Heart and Terrible Ted Nugent. Pretty awesome concert.Taking the vixen to the Well tonight to hear Ann and Nancy Wilson, AKA Heart. When I last heard them on the tube Ann was still belting 'em out. Crazy on You is still one of my all-time favorites.
Maybe I should do an actual review, start a thread with @MeanDean, @cyclones500, and @CycloneRulzzz's approval(s).
Just cuz there's snow on the roof doesn't mean there isn't a fire in the furnace.Jett’s music has more driving beat. Although listening to a 65ish year old women asking “do you wanna touch me there” isn’t something I’d normally care to hear.
