Good for her - and you. No one can be helped unless they choose to be helped, for anything. You did good.

Not exactly sure.
Saw the worst baseball play I have ever seen tonight. Pitcher threw a pick off to the first baseman but threw it way over the base. Worst part was the first baseman wasn’t ready or even on the base......because there was no runner on first base. He tried to pick off an invisible runner and launched it way into right field.

I hope it was the opposing team that did this play. Made it up to your neck if the woods today drive thru Britt then went west.

You built new correct? Would it still be covered by your builder?

Edit didn't realize it was 4 yrs ago IMO builder should be off the hook.(depending on what your contract says). If DH doesn't get it start asking neighbors about a dependable handy man.

I can't believe it's been four years already! I was wrong that it was the same piece they had already replaced - right next to it based on my picture from 2017. Yeah we probably need to ask around. Can at least go buy the replacement piece probably. Wonder if those are standard lengths or custom cut? Because the current piece is kinda twisted so a measurement won't be perfect.

Sooo y'all are about to be the first people I admit this to after my wife and best friend...haven't even told my parents. I can't thank MrsWx enough for pretty much forcing me to go in and get some help for my anxiety. So many things that I have done and struggled with in the past make much more sense why I did or reacted that way now. I wish mental health wasn't such a taboo thing but yet here we are.

It is so, so good that you are doing this and so good that you are talking about it (even if limited, sharing with those you may be unsure of their support/response is risky).
I'm a hypocrite in that I often encourage others to talk to someone but yet never have myself. It's gotten better with time, but there's some worry/stress post-LM that was probably worth seeing someone over but the time to do that, blah. I've exercised it out instead, I guess. That's a bit facetious but I really do think exercise has been a big help.
Though coming up on his birthday (HOW?!).......keep going back to his arrival and mentally rehashing that and wondering how it could have gone better. Don't know how you deal with that though, talking about it doesn't fix it. Time will, I suppose.

Saw the doppelganger of the 280Z I bought 40 years ago on Barrett-Jackson auction last night.

Nope ours. Pitcher committed four errors in the first inning, besides plugging 2-3 batters and come second inning he was just moved to a different spot. Have had kids lose a ball in the sun and get benched for that. At the end of the inning, the coach was chewing tail on the third baseman because he didn't a four foot bunt hard enough that the catcher grabbed and got the out on. Not a word to the pitcher. If you can't tell, the pitchers dad and the coach are good buddies.

I'm stuck in a hog barn replacing gating. Some came in wrong so we can't get a crew to do it so my oldest and I are trying to get it done.

Was this MLB or something else?

Nope High School. Saw it in person. Asked the son when he got home if he had heard what the deal was. He said all the outfielders were talking when the coach went to the mound and they were clueless what just happened. When the pitcher was asked why, he said he saw a shadow over there, yeah there was a shadow, the first baseman was where a runner would typically lead off because he was off base due to no runner. Kid just wasn't paying attention to the game. Son also said that pitcher doesn't look on his pick offs, he just spins and chucks and the first baseman usually can corral it. Had a different guy at first.

Either a couple plays before or after, it was like the pitcher was mad at a runner and when he picked up a drubbing of a hit he pump faked to third and then drilled the runner sliding into third and the ball bounced off him and flew into left field. Should have went to first with it but it seemed like the pitcher was just wanting to lay into this runner. Runner popped up and ran home while my son was running it down in LF; he was playing Left center field because the batter was a lefty so they may even had a runner from second score due to the dumb play.

Whoa, its hot! Muggy to boot. Son helped me, he is unsure how to pace himself, he looked worse than me doing the jobs. He would ask how I could do certain things so easy that he would work his rear off on and not succeed. Just told him it's experience.

Saw some Somali gals working on the bike trail yesterday. Think it was some Mpls youth work group or something. Long dresses and hijabs and building a retaining wall. Not the usual wear for someone swinging a hand sledge. I was impressed considering it was pretty hot on the Greenway the other day. Thought, if they can do that then it's not too hot for me to being biking in fancy stay-dri sorta stuff.

Holy moly the boy is soft. We get home and clean up, I go back out and clean things up to finally get some tables hauled back. Do a couple more things, come in and he’s taking a nap.

We are probably a third done with our gate project.
