There is nothing worse than people that schedule early morning meetings and are then late for their own meeting. This is kinda soap boxy or maybe self-righteous? Not sure. Anyway, it's tough for me to get to work spot on 8am anymore these days. Between a baby still not sleeping through the night to help get ready/entertain/plus my own attempt to get ready and eat/etc. Most days I'm about 5 minutes late but not a big deal cause I never have meetings that early. Except for today. And I bust my butt to get out on time so I can get to this meeting on time. Get here and I see the vehicle for one organizer not here yet. Cool cool. Get up to the room, nothing. Go get coffee come back, nothing. Check email, nothing. Come back to my office with another attendee and we run into one of the organizers - 15 minutes late - being all oh I just got here. Yeah we can tell. Finally 35 minutes past time we get a note that the other organizer will be here shortly. And now they just stopped in to reschedule. That just grinds my gears. Like send a damn email or text or something to say you are running late. The part I'm really peeved about is I just knew they wouldn't be here on time but I got here anyway. And I'm always very apologetic if I get to a meeting more than 2 minutes past time. And try to send a note ahead if I know I'm running behind, it just seems like the courteous thing to do.

Fascia shouldn't be too bad to replace if DH is handy at all. It can be done off a ladder or on the roof fairly easily if the roof pitch is 6/12 or less. I would guess any of the home improvement stores would have that in stock, especially in white. The new piece probably won't match the existing in color exactly due to fading and weathering though. I also recommend getting color matched nails to attach with.
Dh likes to learn how to do stuff like this. He did mention the idea of fixing it from the roof. IDK how though because he'd have to hold it and nail in? IDK, we'll have to talk and get it done soon cause I don't like that the wood is exposed right now. He fixed one that had come loose last year on the roof above our patio but that was easier to get to.
When it's 4:40a, no sun yet, and already 78°. Uggggghhhhhhh.
Just checked the rain gauge...2 3/4".
I emptied it at 10:30 when I went to bed.

When I painted my house I finished off the peak by going onto the roof and laying there reaching down. As Boxster would say, DNDI can tell you from experience that this is not a good idea.
Well, it DOES provide for some interesting non sequiturs!I really need to stop mixing alcohol and cannabis![]()
