Knew a guy who was related to a guy incharge of higher end mercenaries. Would relay stories back about a job every so often that his guys did. His crew took out the Sudanese pirates that were holding American hostages on a life raft or so was one of the more well known jobs. There are operations that the US does that nobody knows because they are having things done under the table. What I was told was from around the 2010 timeframe. I don't hear them anymore because the leader was brutally attacked and beat to death near his home.
You should be OK taking either 35E or 35W on a Saturday. 35E makes more sense if you're going to Wyoming plus there is some construction at 35W and 94 in Minneapolis (nothing terrible). I'm not sure if there's any in St Paul.
That drive home would be very nice. Traffic can be heavy through Stillwater on a nice weekend but there's no festival so you should be OK. Stillwater might be my favorite place in Minnesota.
I finished the bathtub faucet project by caulking around the downspout that appeared to have a gap between it and the wall. Then moved on to trying a different flapper because the first one I got wasn't adjust well so flushing was frustrating. Ended up breaking that vertical tube that the flapper connects to so I went to Menards only to find out that doesn't appear to be an assembly that is sold. So I superglued it on. That is holding but there is a a hole or something in it now that is allowing it to drain the water under the flapper or something and we are back to square one with a toilet that runs every few minutes.
If I have to replace a flush valve in a toilet, I always use a Fluidmaster. I have never had a problem with them, and they last for years.
Best part? They're not expensive, usually around $7-8. I'd bet they are even cheaper at Home Depot or Lowe's or (gagging sound) Menards.
You should be able to find a toilet flush valve sealent ring (sort of a caulk gasket) that could stop the water from getting under the flapper.
Fluidmaster makes a ton of universal toilet repair kits that are pretty easy to install and don't cost much if you need to replace the riser thing. I'm sure other people on here that are better with plumbing may have better suggestions.

I think this is what really pisses me off. I was watching the claims come through like a hawk but this denial from the CITY is the first I'd seen about a claim being denied. Like, thanks for the heads up, insurance, so I could have tried to deal with this sooner.
continuing to raise my blood pressure..........there's nothing in my claims for this. Nothing processed, nothing denied - this doesn't exist on my insurance's side. Wonder if it didn't get submitted to insurance correctly or something.
That happens. The treatment facilities aren't always great at processing this stuff.

Got a call a a few weeks back from insurance company asking if I'd like to talk to one of their on staff pharmacists. Was suspecting because my drugs are so expensive (to say nothing of my killer co-pay for these) but thought "What the hell, never know, maybe they have advice or maybe might pick up on some possible bad drug interaction etc". Pharmacist calls and I can't believe it is an actual licensed pharmacist. JFC, I knew more about the drugs I was taking than she did. It was shocking. It was like talking to a pharmacist in some comedy where the pharmacist is a valley girl.

That is a scary thought. I have to give MrsWx credit on the tub faucet. I couldn't get my fat fingers in to put a new seal in so she did it...and then just stayed sitting there and finished the job while I handed her parts and told her how they went together.
Well, she is going to nursing school. Veins/arteries and intestines are just non rigid plumbing.
