The weekend dance hair practice went pretty well. I had to hunt down a different way to do the bun, but it was successful! Just have to figure out a better way to pin back Z's bangs.

I'm excited for her pictures on Friday.

Sooo.... I got home last night to learn they want a braided ponytail instead. Fun!

That's my daughter's go-to. It goes almost all of the way down her back now. She wants to grow it out a few more inches and then donate a foot to Locks of Love.

In the meantime, that sucker is a weapon on the soccer field if she turns her head quickly.

bird feeder update - so far we've had a cardinal, finches, Indigo Bunting and bluebird! I think I've been assuming buntings were bluebirds when I'd see from a distance but realized over the weekend they are in fact two different birds. Oh and a deer went running through the yard last night.

Kid update: he will drive anything. Toy cars, blocks, containers, other toys, his kick and play piano, and his high chair. The kick and play piano was pretty funny last night, DH said we need to time up the video of that to the making my way downtown music.

I had told little Wx that we would build a bird house and put up a bird feeder. Should probably get on that.

Syncing up the video is a great idea. LittleWx made up an "underwear dance" earlier this year and a friend of ours synced it up to "Bringing Sexy Back".

The first time I tried braiding my daughter's hair, it turned out all fat and huge like Rapunzel's from Tangled, except with 1/100th the amount of hair. When she looked at my concoction in the mirror, she had a look that conveyed horror and sorrow mixed with sympathy for me.

My client will be answering no further questions concerning The Incident. Thank you.

Woah woah woah you can't just say you represent people to get paid. I know tax season is over and you are bored now but come on have some standards!

Not exactly sure.

In junior high we were playing a neighbor school in football. Their RB had clay Matthews hair. Kid hit a hole and looked to be gone on his cut, the other linebacker lunged and luckily tackled the guy somehow. As we close in on him as he gets up from the tackle the RB was PO’d as my teammate stood up. He showed us this handful of red hair he had. A haircut and he would have had a TD.
