This was not enough details, you're among friends in RTT.

Okay, so I got a call from dispatch a little before 6 saying they thought they had 2 or 3 pigs out of one of my sites. Site was loading out. Didnt think it was an emergency at the time. Left home about an hour later to go take care of it. When I get there, I eventually find one on the gravel road to the site. The gf came in from the other way and said there were county workers and pigs everywhere.

Long story short, after about 5 hours, we found 14 pigs spread out over a 5 mile stretch all because the stupid truck driver didnt shut his end door on the trailer. On my way home, got a call from a deputy that another one was found. Didnt get home until 8:30.

I'd be on the lookout for anyone having an impromptu pig roast near by.

I was being nice with the "informative". I'm so sorry you had a rough day because someone else was an idiot. I'm also very sorry that I giggled at the mental image of you chasing pigs...

Okay, maybe the second apology was a lie...

My news feed is pretty dead as far as friends posting. Some of it is friends not posting as much but some of it is just FB spamming me.

Forecast is holding, supposed to be 75, mostly sunny and wind at 3 mph out of the NW by noon.

Totes overcast yet but it could "burn off" I guess. Will ride dat bike after I get back from Audi World. Das Audi needs some new oil. Guessing the bike underpass at Lake is still flooded since we got another 2" of rain since I biked there Saturday. The number of path closures for the light rail construction have also really messed with my fav 20 - 30 mile routes, all of them.

A pre-teen Velo once won a greased pig contest. We had to chase, catch and pin a young pig that was quite greased up. I was the victor pinning the swine in true Cael Sanderson fashion (long before Cael ever donned a singlet). The prize? I got to keep the pig. I ended up raising her for about a year and a half then we butchered and ate her.

My brother years before that didn't participate in the greased pig and greased chicken contest at the 4th of July festivities until one of the chickens got out of the enclosure and ran past us. My brother shot out after the chicken and took home the prize.

Yes, I grew up in rural Iowa. Why do you ask?

Cael was lethal with the heel pick. I knew I never would hold on if I tried to grab the pig around the greased belly and back like the other kids were trying so I wrapped my arms around the back and grabbed the legs so it couldn't squirm free. I'm convinced Cael learned everything he knew from me despite us never meeting.

My shoulders have hurt so bad, especially the left, that I can't sleep at night the last week or so. Gave in and took bought some Tylenol PM and used those the last two nights. Improved to fitful sleep but at least I could lie on my side a little.
I pulled something in my back last week. It is high up on the side around the ribs. No big deal, just a minor aggravation. That is until I got a spring cold this weekend. Once I started coughing I aggravated it to the point that every cough became a voyage into agony. Luckily the cough has subsided enough that the muscle has had a chance to start mending. Back to being a minor irritation.

Am I being random enough today?

MPR said this morning that burn off was not likely since most of the haze is from Canadian wildfires.
