Well, of course now that I read what I wrote, I'm smacking my forehead figuratively. What I meant was I'm fortunate to not have gotten shingles again. I didn't want to think about whether "shingles" is singular or plural, and then even if I wrote it correctly, who would try to correct me. Occupational hazard.

Singular or plural, I agree - I hope I never get them again! And mine was a "mild" case.

Hey @NWICY , my jaws of death ate two deer/white-footed* mice in the garage this week. Tuck under is warmer than outside so guess they are looking at it like a trip to Mexico, albeit a very fatal trip.

I disliked mainly due to scare factor and sad that they chose to do that.

This bugs me a lot. Statistically kids in Iowa are no more in danger of being abducted today than they were when I was little kid on a playground 60 years ago but the perception is everything is more dangerous today with respect to that. Parental due diligence on modern aspects like social media and chat room sorta stuff is one thing with total paranoia is something else. The series of crimes shows would have you think there is an abductor or sex traffic ring on every block of the USA.

Wxs parenting thoughts of the day.

The pre-bedtime dance party was fun. Thankfully kids are made tough. The first one to protect them from their parents and the second one to protect them from their siblings. LilMissWx may have a blackeye tomorrow from a bathroom door that was swung open by LilWx. Should not have kissed LilMissWx on the mouth before bed as I got a face full of snot. MrsWx could have spoken up before I grabbed it and used it that the wipe I was reaching for to wipe the snot off my face was used to wipe her bottom.

All in all a good 10 minutes

The last three decades or so of planning and zoning have pushed these unlivable suburban lots....if a 6' setback is allowed, guess what? You get houses 12' apart! Wow, who knew? The enviro-crusaders who gravitate toward jobs in planning and zoning departments get to pat themselves on back that they are increasing density, but really what they have created is inhumane suburban hell with the worst of all worlds: neighborhoods where you still have to get into your subaru forester or Toyota Land Cruiser to drive everywhere to do anything with little pedestrian opportunities, yet you still have to listen to your neighbors bro-country cranked up on his deck where they are so close you can see the blackheads in their skin. This wraps around to many culprits.....

I just saw a commercial for "ship sticks" that will ship your golf clubs for your beautiful facebook-freindly golf vacation....It is a thing I guess. I thought I was in a hot-tub time machine to 1998.....but it is real. America is messed up.

That is another reason I stopped watching them. It did make me feel more.paranoid. I also don't like being scared. So, i stopped watching.

I do admit to being extremely watchful of Z's breathing as an infant, but that was due to the earlier loss.
