I didn't get the jobs I interviewed for either. Lost in what essentially was a coin flip.

A full-time Guard job I boarded for ears ago came down almost to that.
I received a standing ovation from the board during the interview, and they were giddy about this thing.
I received my "Memorandum of non-selection" which informed me that the decision was not a reflection of my qualifications relative to the selected candidate. That was probably the worst way I've seen to break the news.
Turned out the dude they hired had 20 full-time years under his belt. He took the job, then cashed in for a contractor job a few months later. I guess the whole thing spared me a move to Newton, so there's that.

That is a terrible way of informing someone. They at least brought me in to discuss it all and what not. The downfall of it is this was the first real growth position from what I am currently so everyone applied...not to mention the big pay raise. Still another position open but interviews have not been completed due to a new manager.
Gawsh...missed a lot yesterday/last night.

Well on the positive side of things my lifestyle change has lost me 6 lbs so far.
Man you people posted a lot. Good luck Rulzzz. Get them the next time Wx by the way the flight looked cool a few days ago. New Years eve was a day of sleep for me got feeling terrible after the TT game slept for 10 hours straight then slept the rest of the day in 45 min awake 2-3 hours sleep. Feeling much better now. Welcome Haramid. May get new computer this week old one died. Posting from library. Safe travels back to the TCities Boxster. GTO vacation pics looked great. Well catch you all later.

Nice! Keep positive thoughts when you don't see the scale move though. It is coming up on 9 months from start of coaching a coworker of mine through a 70 lb weight loss. After month 5 he was good on his own, confident SOB. Makes me proud of him.
And no...I'm not a beachbody coach. In real estate but still have the kinesiology degree.

Brutal writing day for a while there. Late start and tired, and that easily leads to a wasted day.
But I stepped out, carbed up for lunch, changed my music (against my recent tradition), and Bon Jovi delivered a really nice writing afternoon.
