You need to find better places to drink. You want no part of any woman who will go drinking in there.
The outside is just a facade to keep out the rif-raf. Once you step inside, it's like a place the Rat Pack would have frequented. The mixologists are classically trained. The food is prepared by a James Beard winning chef, trained in Paris, and they use only the finest ingredients (e.g. the pickled pigs feet are Hormel brand, not that crappy Smithfield stuff).

The relentless pesky solar salesmen are in our neighborhood...again. We've been here 2 1/2 years and had at least 8 of them ring our doorbell. We were home for 6 of those and all but 2 were rude and pushy. As in rude to you, won't accept "no" and won't leave until you shut the door in their face. People in the neighborhood are getting fed up and have just started calling the police to deal with them. (Our city requires that they have a permit, which none of them have.)

I had one stop by the other day, He kept telling me "cool"
Him: How long have you had that truck?
Me: Since 2018
Him: Cool
Me: I'm on a work call
Him: Cool
Me: What are you selling?
Him: Nothing I want to talk to you about adding solar to your home
Me: I need to get back to this work call
Him: Cool

Boss was upset we didn't work yesterday, you know when it was raining and snowing that was immediately melting, not good when trying to sheet a roof. It's a safety issue. Still snowing today, but we're finding stuff to do.
