I think it’s taking me longer to pull out all the pieces of clothing I might wear today, than it will to watch half the game.
Wife bailed so I fueled up the good pickup,dug out some clothes and bought some smaller sized fireball bottles.
Whoever ripped ass on the northwest ramp after the game…you should probably check your pants.

'Bout six nights in a row
Okay, not six nights in a row but a pair of Great Horned Owls has been hooting up a storm outside for the last 30 minutes or so. It's establish territory time. Pretty cool. I've never spied the ones close to my house but hear them all of the time come winter. Can't really go traipsing through my neighbors yards or I bet I could find them.

Our offense is so bad, that the games aren’t even that fun to watch or go to anymore. Will probably get tickets next year, but it’s a chunk of money and worse when it’s not that enjoyable
You aren’t alone. If major changes aren’t made and Heacock doesn’t stick around then I will be hard to convince. Or at least maybe just go down to JCC parent passes. We haven’t had any success reselling our tickets when we can’t go for good money and that doesn’t look to improve next year.
Jim Walden wasn’t a good coach but he understood that fans want offense if you are not winning all the time. Knowing we are doomed when the other team puts 14-17 points on the board is not fun.
Iowa comes to Trice next year so we will have quite a few tickets bought. Last year I bought 2 cheap packs (I’m case my daughter and her BF didn’t get tickets) I made money reselling them and I gave 2 games away to friends when they wanted them.
I haven't even been able to give tickets away. The people I know are fans but radio/TV fans not drive to Ames fans.
If I keep my tickets I think I'll sell the Iowa game off, it's overcrowded and really not that great of tailgating experience compared to the rest of the games IMO. It's probably a good experience if you have a group but I don't so it's just overcrowded wandering
Had a bit of a scare today, went to BB today so meet the folks there for MBB. Me and the cousin go home one way and when about home count 5 cop cars and a couple of ambulances headed in the direction my folks always come home. Called them quick and they were fine, but had me worried for a bit. Shouldn't worry about them but when it was that close it was hard not to.
Spam/junk filters at work don't always work right, so need to check that folder anytime it shows messages. Today there were a couple of legit ones, and a different one with a subject line something like this: "Read the fake news you can trust."
Most people are taking the whole week off and I am taking Wednesday off sooooo guess I should clean since nothing else is really happening.
It wasn't me. There were some pretty hilarious drunks walking out behind us though.
also, in the bathroom with little JM (7YO) after the 1st qtr, everyone was dealing with all of their clothes. Some guy announced, "good thing I took a viagra so I can find my pecker right now!". Little JM inquired as we walked out what that meant. I just smiled and said I'll tell you when you're older.
We had several shirtless guys below us. One dude should have put his shirt back on. Fireball stock should be going up today with all the empty bottles I saw going up.
