But dat tree house! I think it had an impact on a lot of Boomer gals. My college GF wanted to live in a house built in the trees.

They only take, what, 3 days for 3 adults and a loud obnoxious brat to build including a fridge?
The best is how they get there and right away start ruining the ecology of the island by harassing a tortoise and stealing a baby elephant.

Checking in from CR. We are okay. House is mostly okay. Our trees took a hard beating and will all have to come down at some point. Playset is destroyed, fences are destroyed, A/C has a bent case and was rotated some. Going to get that looked at. Power came on this evening and it is working so that is a plus thus far.
We are very lucky. CR is an absolute mess and will be for a while. Please keep thinking of us and those around us. Not sure how much I will be around until next week as we have a lot to to do at our house and families and friends houses..

I haven’t seen it yet (and don’t donate enough to get one) so I don’t know. I hope we stay away from people and use the university logo (the shield one, not the eye one because that is weird), the athletic logo, Bucky, Camp Randall, stuff like that. Then you avoid an issue where something bad later comes out about someone (a la joe paterno)

Thankfully we have a gas water heater so we never lost hot water. Apparently it isn't romantic to suggest a joint shower by candlelight when the power is out.
