I decided to post this here and not start the other thread back up. Besides, I think we can laugh at the over-generalization. I'm not so sure about some of the folks in the Euthanize the Boomers thread. ;)

Sucker. I used to drive a stick! Kind of miss it too.

Home with a sick kid today. She’s binge was some annoying show on Netflix called Alexis and Katie. As I’m about to ask her to watch something, it occurs to me that the mom in that show is........... Tiffani bleepin’ Thiessen. The show is no longer annoying to me.
Netflix, you say?

Looks like we are getting each other a new dishwasher for valentines day. Does this mean I can take the airplane ear rings back? She said she liked them before I bought them so don't glare at me like that.

Funny story with those ear rings. EAA sent the email out with "oh look at these pretty things that your wife would love" I show them to her and she agrees so I go to buy it using a free shipping coupon. Turns out that was just for the absolutely lowest shipping rate which wasn't clear until after I clicked submit and noticed they charged me $56 of shipping on $16 ear rings. Called and got that changed.
$56 for shipping for ear rings? Were they coming from the moon?

Amazing what you can find in the cave. :D It was started tongue-in-cheek, but some folks have got their panties in a bunch over it. And I can literally say "both sides"!
Ok, I found it. The main thing I got from that thread was Pants changed his avatar

That would have been throwing gas on a fire for some of those folks. I know the ones that are joking on there, but some of them think the whole world is wrong and every generation before theirs fault.

Thats alright, Im 26 and have multiple grey hairs, as the gf loves to point out.
Way back in the day my sister in law's boyfriend (now husband) had a significant amount of gray hair in high school. By about 5 years after high school he was totally gray. Apparently his father was the same way, nearly all gray in high school.

My first vehicle When I was14 was a stick shift, and hubby’s first vehicle purchase on his own (around 1996ish) was a stick shift. We have a young relative (will be 21 next month) who chose to sell his vehicle and buy a manual transmission. He is also going to college to be a commercial airline pilot, so pretty sure if he can fly a plane he can drive a manual transmission.

Heading to Great Plains in a bit to pick up our annual heart shaped pizzas for Valentine’s dinner. Survived a preschool and 1st grade party today. Not sure how hungry some of my kids will be after eating candy all afternoon.

And some of the older folks are taking it personally. It's a nonsensical thread.

Lew & I were talking about it. We're pretty sure at least two of our kids can drive a stick...but they're GenX. The two granddaughters with licenses...ohellno. But only one of them is a millenial. The other is post.

I miss my stick shift. Sadly, the nerve damage in my right arm forced me to give it up. :(
