They have opened up a GoFundMe for Andrew Jones of Texas, the player with Leukemia, and I was wondering if that would be seen as an NCAA violation? It is specifically for his medical care, but when he gets healthy and if he comes back to play, could that hurt him? I don't think it should, but with how the NCAA works on things like this I don't know.

When Texas tweeted out the link to the Go Fund Me they made a point to specifically mention that this was allowable under NCAA rules. Apparently there is an exception for helping pay for costs of medical care.
