Excellent work calling the game tonight. I know I probably would have dropped 10 F bombs in that first half if I was calling the game. Hopefully we get to hear more games called by Blum.

I started chewing on my bottom lip right at the beginning of that 19-2 run. I stopped with about 30 seconds left in regulation. Needless to say I started back up in overtime until the end of the game. Pretty sure my lip is bleeding pretty badly right now.

That was impressive. I only heard pain in his voice a few times, but I was forced to go from the tv to the radio prior to the banked 3.

  7. Brent Blum can do no wrong. Except when everyone shows him too much love. In that case he needs brought back to earth.

He was good, but he did forget to mention fouling UNI when up 3 with 5 seconds left in regulation. Or maybe I missed it.

OK - thought he did great as well; however next time he should bring a booster chair. He looked awful short next to his color guy.

People were bagging on the terrible crew at the beginning, I couldn't believe it. I thought Blum did a great job of setting up his color, not showing his own colors. Well done Blum!

I did too. Don't know much about these guys since I'm out of state, but do they do a lot of Mediacom games?

He really did a fantastic job and needs a radio show or something. He is 10x as good as anybody on foxsports1.

    This.

Rather pathetic to read that when it wasn't bad announcing - just bad basketball.

Thought he did fine, especially for how invested he is in the success of ISU, vs. the craptastic way things were going.

Was it him who called the crowd boisterous? That may be the first time I've ever heard that to describe a crowd in that setting.

Overall it was a good solid job. Touch a go for a bit when he kept adding and extra point for Ejim's transition 3 that was a 2, but I thought he recovered nicely.

Already said a bunch, but nice work, Brent! Now if we could just get a little less compressed resolution from the Mediacom broadcast...
