How do you know that he prepared them well enough?

How do you know that he didn't? That's my point! We have a significant collection of fans that just won't get behind the guy. Steve gets zero credit when it's going good and then when things take a turn he's the punching bag. It's pathetic how little support Prohm has received since he has been our coach.

Why should he get our support when he has the talent he has and brought " his guys" in and are having all these issues? Give a coach like bill self these players. he would be looking at a 1 seed and had won the conference

I think he has received a ton of support. I don't think you can take very vocal critics as a representation of the fan base as a whole.

You should try harder.

IT"S......NOT.....THAT.....CUT.....AND....DRY!

Nobody is saying that Prohm doesn't have any responsibility in all of this but we have a lot of fans overestimating what he can even do to fix this.

Since Prohm seems like a nice, Godly man....

.....but also an ineffective and weak leader

I'm not optimistic. Hope he proves me wrong, but his era isn't known for tremendous leadership.

It blows my mind how many people think that it's CSP's job to fix every little thing when in reality it's his job to prepare these men to do it themselves. The players haven't lived up to their end of the deal in that regard.

He makes 1.5 million dollars per year. He made more money to "coach" that catastrophe last night than many people make in a year. It is his job to fix every little thing. That's why he makes 1.5 million dollars per year. If his players aren't prepared, that's his fault. If he can't get them to reach their potential, that's his fault. If he can't get them to get along for 40 minutes and play as a cohesive unit, that's his fault. At the end of the day it's his program, it's his team, and if he can't get them to perform, it's on him.

I mean, sign me up if you can make 1.5 million dollars per year and you can rely on "well the players didn't do their job" to justify poor performance. Seems like a pretty fool-proof way to become a millionaire.

Agreed he is the ship captain. He may have even called himself this once or twice in a post game press conference.

I'd like the captain to get ahold of his ship. It is crashing into everything and the crew is throwing a mutiny. By ship captaining standards neither one of those outcomes is very good. Because of said performance CSP needs to show he's making a change because this isn't first time these types of issues have occurred.
