Yeah, he'll end up being another Greg Maddux.

But truthfully, the Cubs have thrown enough money at him and have gotten Mike Hampton-like production from him. If San Diego wants to pay him for a year of rehab, let them.

I read an interesting discussion with a low minors scout saying how Prior basically set himself up for injury with his throwing motion, as his elbow comes above his shoulder.

I have heard this recently too, but when he broke into the minors everyone said he would last forever because of his "superior" mechanics.
