Holy ****! Did KSU lose by 48 last night? 48? Baylor was up 41-7 at one point? I don't care if they beat us. That moves then to 10th for the time being. That has to be the worst margin of victory in the Big 12 ever?
I watched most of the first half of that. It was amazing. It could have been a lot worse even in the first half. If I recall correctly when it was 41-7 Baylor had already been playing their entire second unit for some time. If they really wanted to it could have very well been something like 60-10 at the half. As it was, KSU hit a banked in 3/4 court 3 at the buzzer and they were still more than doubled up at the break.

LOL. I don't care. That's horrendous for a coach that fanbase adores.

If you want to pile on a little more, here's a nugget per ESPN (again, at risk of pot-kettle from our standpoint): Kansas State hasn't done too well vs. BU of late.

"(KSU) has trailed by at least 16 points in each of the last four meetings with Baylor. The Wildcats haven't led in any of those games."

(Also, Baylor had three 18-0 runs.)

Here is a power ranking by weight across the lines

Oline: WV and OU are A LOT bigger than the next group (Baylor to Tech is 3.5 lbs).. Interesting that KState has the smallest oline

Dline: Texas is quite a bit bigger than the rest. Baylor, OU and KU in the next range.. Followed by OSU, ISU, TCU, Tech and WV.. Again Kstate is the caboose

@surly Is KState young on the lines or are we all about to watch teams push you around this year?

This data must be using 2020 weights. Because Cyclones.com lists:

Foster - 318
Downing - 314
Newell - 304 (probably closer to 295 playing weight than 305)
Schweiger - 311
Remsburg - 315

It seems like they’re arbitrarily choosing players. Not sure if they’re using projected starters, two deeps, or what.

I really hope Texas continues their overrated streak, and I think there's a decent chance that happens this year with Beard taking on a new culture/new players, but I'm afraid that's gonna be ending real soon. Sigh...I suppose it's "better" for the B12 for Texas not to suck at sports...

We went from last season's basketball to this fall's o'lines somehow? Whatever, I suspect this will be K-State's starting o'line this fall when you visit the Little Apple. That being the case, the Interior line would average 314#.

OT So Cooper Beebe 6'3" 322#
OG Jr Josh Rivas 6'6" 320#
C Sr Noah Johnson 6'1" 293#
OG Sr Ben Adler 6'4" 332#
OT Jr Christian Duffie 6'5" 305

TE Sr Daniel Imatorbhebhe 6'4" 240#

DT Sr Timmy Home 6'4: 319#
DT Sr Eli Huggins 6'4" 295#
DE Jr Khalid Duke 6'3" 240#

Yeah, I have no clue. Sitting on the Minnesota cottage deck tonight overlooking Lake Irene over dinner: "I have no clue how good football will or won't be but basketball could be salty."

We'll just have to see what difference Skylar Thompson makes, and what Duece is like as a sophomore, plus everyone else. It will be interesting whatever the cases.

I really look forward to getting back in the stadium and gym.

Nope I'm fine with Tx sucking at the major sports. Their fan base deserves it. Arrogant to the core. I mean they just won the national women's rowing championships. Let them have as many of them as they want.

Nah, he's still around priming for another B12 championship run, methinks, his third by the way.
