While we wait for the tournament to start. This year I have a new one.
@surly This was one of my favorite NCAA tourney games ever.
I was on spring break when this happened. There were dozens of Missouri fans around watching the game.
It. Was. Outstanding.
When Cotton turned to Pepp and exclaimed "Do you believe in unlikelihoods!?!" just after Average Joe's defeated Globo Gym in the final match.
Edit: Oh wait, you said NCAA? I'm sorry, I thought I saw ADAA. I'll see myself out...
I love this, especially how UNC botched the last 1.6 seconds and didn't get the timeout.
I mean this easily could just be a Gus appreciation (missing him) thread, here was a great compilation of his Top 10 NCAA calls: http://awfulannouncing.com/ncaa/gus-johnsons-top-10-march-madness-moments.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
The announcer in this video reminds me of Sam Kinison, just screaming all over
At least we still have Raftery.
That circus 3 in the first OT by Crawford is what the NCAA tournament is all about. I remember watching that live and just thinking how insane that game was.
I always remember Gus for his constant references to Kenny Pratt. Haven't heard one in a while, but maybe we'll hear another one this week? Absolutely love him calling games. Would take him over all the rest any day!!
For us Louisiana Cyclones (not many), this was sweet! NW State is located about an hour south of where I live. My boys have attended Head Coach Mike McConathy's summer basketball camps and he actually runs the drills and is a stand up role model for the boys.
That game was freaking insane.
Big X champions getting beaten by ISU on a beautiful Sunday afternoon on CBS. When the JV beat the varsity. Elmer Robinson jamming it from the Hornacek out of bounds pass.
Up 12 with 44 seconds left. Still can't believe the amount of choke.
Not as good as the old one, but always a good one!
