Probably cost us this game, between poor calls, and not getting the play in in time, and not going for it on 4th down several times.

With our playcalling I felt more comfortable with us at Iowas 40 or midfield because I thought we could still move the ball from there. When we got down to the 20 or closer, we hit the self destruct button everytime.

Re: Dear Coaching Staff..................

You totally screwed the pooch in that game. That loss is on you.

I said the loser of this game loses out in recruiting...Andy Brodell if I remember rite grew up 20 miles from Ames...

Well maybe if ISU gets enough better and a lot faster players from texas and florida maybe we can pull a coach Mac and go to I-City and WIN

Danny Mac I miss you ....

No blame on the guys for throwing picks, dropping balls, missed blocks, etc?

Hmmm - ok.
There's blame on them, most definitely, but a large part of the blame goes on the coaching staff, no question.

I'd bet the players would disagree with ya. But - lets wait until hoops season and blame the staff for losses there too.

When things got rolling all of a sudden things got out of synic, that goes to the coaches.

Kids are kids and are expected to make mistakes. Coaches are getting paid to do their jobs and that is inexcusable.

I know. I'm torqued at the staff for having Singleton make a horrible attempt on a tackle on that punt return for a TD.

We lost today as a team - coaches and players a like.

The only coaching staff problem I saw was getting the play onto the field. Other than that, we just aren't a good team. Iowa isn't either and it showed today.

Momentum swung completely on Leonard Johnson's hit on Moeaki. We had the momentum with our defense playing lights out in the second half. Iowa goes on to score 14 points and put the game out of reach.

We do need to work on a lot of things, but I'm pleased with the play of our young guys for the most part.
