Thing came in like a missile or a meteor. It crazy being a plane, how it came in, something was very wrong, the way it nosed dived.
Small planes crash a lot. I think this is a big deal because it’s so close to the other wreck. This thing came down like a middle. Not sure what could have happened.
That jet was hauling ass when it hit. Like, near-vertical dive at high speed. Something was very, very wrong.
That is not even close to the truth.

Yeah, especially not private jets. Reportedly this was a Learjet 55.
You hear of small single engine private planes, bush planes etc. crashing, occasionally, but nothing I would call often, and rarely a private jet level of craft.
Well everyone in my family are pilots and my best friends dad is a pilot that died in a plane crash. So yeah it is accurate. They don’t normally run into malls. My friends dad’s plane crashed in Ankeny in n a field and tumbled.
There have been 6 plane crashes in Iowa since 2021 and that’s just little Iowa
They crash frequently enough. I saw one a few years ago at a small regional airport. Another crashed on the freeway near my house killing the passengers and two motorists in the last year or so.
I mean there are certainly many more small private plane crashes where 1-5 people die compared to commercial passenger jets. But that's because commercial airplanes are so safe.
Whenever there is a major accident similar accidents are always pushed more by the media and social media because it's on people's minds.
You are talking small single engine Cessna type planes or even smaller. Not a LearJet type craft.
There is a huge difference from a single engine piston Cessna, and a private jet class aircraft.
Saying this happens regularly or often is a major exaggeration.

It was carrying 6 because it was a medical flight. A Learjet 55 can carry twice that amount.
Your version of often must be different than mine. That is what you are exaggerating, even including the tiny piston engine crafts, it doesnt happen "all the time". I also dont consider small single piston engine private planes on the same level as a LearJet or Cessna Jet craft.
You are talking a civilian private owner pilot in most of the small piston engine crashes vs. a professional jet commercial pilots in private jets. These are not the same thing or even close to same class of plane or pilot.
There was an F-35 that dropped out of the sky the other day. These things happen more often than you would expect. General aviation accidents happen pretty frequently. That’s one reason I don’t fly those anymore.
