Would be funny if they did wait and not play in the fall and all the other P5s did and had a championship game without a second thought. Makes it a little easier right, just take the four conference champs and have at it.

Time to bite the bullet and cancel the fall sports. And hope spring 2021 is better.

Five days, huh? Can't wait to hear the outcome of that decision. The thought of all of the Hok anguish is just too good to be true.

If the B1G cancels it's pretty much a given that other conferences will follow suit.

Just make a freaking call. This kicking the can down the road is just a stupid waste of resources if the end result is not playing or some weird version of a season.

Like it or not, politics plays a HUGE role in this, and lets be honest, the Big 10s footprint is mostly blue states.

Edit: I meant the Governors making the decisions:

Nah, just like conference-only play, B1G leads on stuff like this.

At least half of the states in the B1G footprint are red.

    Mmmm...

Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, PA, MI all went for Red in 16? That is half of the Big 10 schools covered and Im probably missing someone.

Nah, B1G leads in sexual abuse (Penn State, Michigan State, Iowa) and racism (Iowa)

This is a joke.. P5’s can test daily... What do they think playing fball is gonna create a higher infection rate amongst players than not playing? Got news for em.. it won’t.

players and staff are safer now in their pseudo bubbles.. cancel everything and they will be less safe.

aside from that.. Mortality rate is similar to Flu for 18-22 year olds.. Secondarily there are some scientists and geneticists recently who have claimed Covid has and is mutating to be more infective but less severe...like 99/% of viruses.
