Good news for GBP, a real Midwestern beer.

PBR is a hipster beer? Guess that means my father was a hopster 35 years ago. I remember him drinking it in the garage when I was a kid. There is a reason it's rather unpopular....It tastes like crap....

PBR straight out of the brewery is AMAZING. When I lived in Milwaukee, I had it straight from the brewery and it was crazy how good it was compared to how crappy it is if you buy it from your local liquor store.

PBR isn't hipster to me. That's a man's beer IMO. My grandpa used to drink the stuff daily and he was a tough old son of a *****.

At a Lombard, IL sushi restaurant a few weekends back, the crowd at the bar was drinking PBR. What's next, Drewry's?

PBR that is freshly born is good. Anything else is pure crap. And it is a hipster beer now sadly.

In all my life, this is the first time I've ever heard PBR referred to as a "hipster's" beer.

I'll be impressed when they start drinking Hamms.
