Outdoor Electrical Help

I’m trying to bring some electrical from inside, through vinyl siding, to the outside. There is an outlet directly behind where I want to put the outdoor outlet.

First option is to run a waterproof conduit to one of these on a post (see below). I’ve read that you can use NM under 6’ outdoors through a waterproof conduit and still meet code. Not sure how I’d seal it through the sheathing and siding though.

The other option is to mount something directly to the side of the house but I’m having trouble finding a box that will be water tight and handle a pool filter plug that’s bigger than a standard outlet.

I’d do second option. Are you just checking big box stores? I’d check with electrical wholesale suppliers or electrician directly. But if you work with electrician it’d probably be just as easy to hire it out

Get a vinyl mounting block, attach it to your siding, then attach that outlet box you posted directly to the mounting block.

Most colors of mounting block are available at big box stores
