Big12 looking good so far. Up at halftime of all 3 early games. A good showing would go a long way in swaying the conversation about the bubble and seeding as we go into Marxh.

Unreleated but 5-14 Illinois about to beat #13 Maryland on the road.
Maryland isn’t as good as their ranking. They’ve been beating the average to bottom Big Ten teams.

Maryland is a lot like Iowa. Much of their resume so far is feasting against the large, soft, underbelly of the Big Ten. The two times I've watched them on TV they look very average.
That TCU-Florida game was worse than a Rutgers-Illinois football game (or basketball I guess). Set the game back 30 years. Turned it on with 3:30 left and there were 3 shot clock violations while watching
Haha I flipped quickly to see the score. Turned back about 5 mins later... same score.
It's technically a neutral site game, but still a horrible loss for Maryland. I think the Big 10 has 3 really good teams and a bunch of 7-9 seeds.
ISU win and a good showing by the Big 12, plus the Illinois cherry on top means a good day for resume building.
