Latest trailer dropped for Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood today. Currently being seen at Cannes right this second.

Looks amazing to me. The Manson murders being a backstory while everything is going on will be interesting.

QT sent a request to all press at Cannes to not give any spoilers away. Not sure he’s ever done that so there must be some pretty major things that happen.

Reactions are coming in on Twitter. All glowing reviews. Some say it’s as close to Pulp Fiction as you can get. Another said it could win the best film award at Cannes easily. Hilarious. Shocking. Blackly comical. Extremely unsettling. Some words used.

I thought it was going to be mainly about Manson and the Tate murder. I like it much better this way. Looks great and I love the entire cast. Glad to see Timothy Olyphant in there, he's great in everything he does.

I have found most of QT's recent efforts to be show-off film making at its best. He rarely disappoints with his technical abilities, and his story lines are generally interesting. But too often he falls back on graphic violence and the story flies away.

I have no doubt Tarantino indulges himself in his films. His personality show through in the trademark touches - bare feet (especially women's), Red Apple cigarettes, overuse of both the "F" and "N" words, and so on. Were he to direct his energies more toward a mainstream type of film, it would likely be more satisfying to me. But then, he wouldn't be the director he is, either.

People use the "F" word every day. It gives his characters a sense of realness. In django the "N" word was used egregiously, as it probably was in 1850 southeastern United States.

Lots of critics saw this tonight. Have seen several on Twitter saying it's their favorite Tarantino movie and how much they loved it. I'm going Thursday, can't wait.

This is Tarantino’s most reserved and funny movie he’s ever done. I loved it. It’s his love letter to the city and medium of movies that he grew up on.

But many will absolutely hate it. Gonna be a love it or hate it movie for sure. Leo and Pitt are at the top of their game in my opinion. Both will be up for oscars and Pitt might be tough to beat in supporting.

It’s staggering how Robbie channeled Sharon Tate.

I haven't loved the back ends of Tarantino's last several films (I don't mind violence, but the blood sprays lose me). However, I'm beyond excited to see this. Not sure if I'll make it in the theater, but it looks awesome.

It was good but it could have been edited down so much. It is 2 hrs and 40 minutes and feels like 2 hrs and 40 minutes. They could have easily shaved off 30 minutes and not lost any plot or ambiance.

It’s Tarantino making a movie about movies and LA. There is no way it was going to be edited down haha.

I'd love to see this, but it's extremely difficult to get me to sit through a 3 hour movie now.
