Wow. Back to back Best Director Oscars. Has that ever been done before?

The only back to back winner I can think of was Tom Hanks for Best Actor for Philadelphia/Forrest Gump.

John Ford in 40-41 and Joe Mankiewicz in 49-50.

I thought Brie Larson was great in Room. I wasn't sure she was going to win it, but was well deserved. (I think Jake Trombley should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor too)

Agreed. That was an amazing performance by a child actor. As great as Brie was in it, he was at least as equally good if not better.

Yes. I have not seen The Revenant, but I can not imagine a better movie than Spotlight. It was a GREAT, GREAT movie.
