After watching this game from start to finish, I'd like to think that I can call Oregon's "Blur" offense overrated without being railed for it.
Whenever they face a good defense, it stalls. James, while I think he is an elite back, averaged just 3 ypc when he was in the game. He averaged 3.1 in the 15-13 nailbiter against Cal last year, and 3.7 in the NCG last year.
They looked average. If an offense is as good as Oregon's is hyped up to be, they shouldn't look average any time they face a good defense. Should they still look all-world good? Of course not. But they get shut down.
