Anita O'Day birthdate October 18. One of my favorite recordings. The picture, I believe, is from the Newport Jazz Festival in 1958, which is on film somewhere because I've seen it.

If we adhere literally to the topic's "off-limits" standard, Starlight would be ineligible. But I'm 100% fine with relaxing the standard here, because it's a cool tune. :) (Also worth a Like from me).

Edit: Addition -- a few other songs posted in the thread technically "violate" the rule, but I'm fine with those, too.

I hope this does not mean that Starland Vocal Band ("Afternoon Delight") is a candidate for inclusion. Otherwise, Hara-Kiri comes to mind.
