Understandable. ... That's an example of a heavy-rotation song that somehow didn't drive me totally nuts at the time. A little listener-fatigue, but not at the highest level of the sick-meter.
Don't get me wrong, I thought she was hot, but everyone thought she was this next level talent based on that song, and I just didn't agree. Still don't.

She did get quite a bit of hype at the time, probably inflated, as you say. I prefer a few of her hits that came after vs. All I Wanna Do... . I've tended to view her as reliable, but certainly didn't seem to be potentially groundbreaking.
Migrated to FL this week. Then issues with internet connectivity (Thanks Comcast - YOU SUCK!). Finally here. Late to the Party, so to speak.

No doubt. I try to stay away from top 40 stuff for that reason but will revisit later.
I think All I Wanna Do has held up over time as well as a couple other Crow songs.
