Please come to Denver with the snowfall
We'll move up into the mountains so far that we can't be found
And throw "I love you" echoes down the canyon
And then lie awake at night till they come back around
Please come to Denver

"There's No Love In Tennessee" by Barbara Mandrell. Lyric: Too bad Colorado came between us/now I'm lookin' out through these tears. This was a #7 Billboard Hot Country Singles release from her Greatest Hits album in 1985.

"Smoky Mountain Rain" by Ronnie Milsap (chosen for 'mountain' in the title). This was a #1 Billboard Hot Country Singles release in 1980. It also hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #24 on the Hot 100. The song was written by Dennis Morgan and Kye Fleming, a songwriting duo who penned some of the biggest hits for Milsap, Barbara Mandrell, and Charley Pride. It was named the eighth state song of Tennessee by their legislature in 2010.

You guys are leaving me an easy one. I think I conceived my first child with this playing in the background.

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there

Drivin' in the mountains
Winding 'round and 'round
Rummage through your mailboxes
Take your mail back to town
