What happened with Joe Leblanc from Wyoming at NCAAs when he missed weight after making the semis?

I know they stripped his team points, but was he still able to stand on the podium?

Brooks could really ruin the 86 kg bracket. I imagine the Kazakhstani wrester is not happy about the draw.

I suppose Peacock is the only way to watch these?

Brackets for 74kg and 125kg are out. Decent draws. Parris is opposite Zare which is great and match up Petriashvili in the semis if he gets there. He wrestle him super close at worlds last year. Dake is the favorite of course, gets a good draw though. The bottom side of the bracket is far tougher but Chamizo quarter final is interesting as Chamizo is always a tricky opponent.

The guy Lee wrestles was a NAIA champ in 2023, I'm guessing Spencer should win.
Abdullaev has beaten some really good dudes. Spencer is the favorite, but no easy match. He just pretty easily beat a 3-time world bronze medalist in the quarters and 2023 euro champ in the first round.

That said, Gilman destroyed this dude at the last Olympics.

Yes there is seeding based on competing in the ranking series events, so for example Spencer or Brooks didn't really wrestle a lot internationally so they weren't ranked/seeded. Kyle Snyder and Dake wrestled a lot so they are seeded.

A healthy Spencer is the best in the world, and has been for several years. Not saying he can’t be beat, but he’s the favorite to win this tournament.

I think he’s looked great in his 2 matches so far this tournament. As good as he’s looked in a long time. He was aggressive, scored from a variety of attacks on his feet, and showed no signs of conditioning issues. His parterre is always going to be a game changer.
