Almost half time and it’s the second first down. This offense is embarrassingly bad.

Not a single person thinks the offense is doing well. What they are seeing is it’s no different than last year but our defense is just as good so far and the biggest area of concern, special teams, has done an actual 180 thus far. That’s 2 of 3 units now as opposed to 1 of 3 and one of those actually losing you games.

Uh, no, offense to me was the biggest area of concern.

You're not going to consistently win 13-10. Not in the Big 12.

We knew the defense was going to be good.
Special teams probably couldn't be as bad as last year. Both are checks.

Very happy there.


If we're going bowling - which clearly the defense is more than talented to achieve - we need to make massivve improvements offensively. We're going to need to be able to win games 31-30. Not just 10-6.


So no, special teams was not MY biggest area of concern. It was offense. And offensive line. And right now.... its meh.
