I love everything about this start. Defense looks great and more aggressive. Offense looks decisive. Passes are coming out quick. Line of scrimmage is moving downfield. Dare I say, quarterback sneak from under center?

I know it's just the purplehawks, but I like seeing an effective running game by multiple guys. Tells you something about the OL I think.

Better ISU teams than this one have struggled against UNI. Loving effort from all sides of the ball so far.

They wouldn’t have even been in position last year. The punt would have been fair caught and then Manning would have happened and a punt.

Agreed hard to make a real good assessment since it’s early in the first game of the year but offense seems to have a different mindset than last year

The O is playing OK. Need to mix it up some now. Become a little less predictable. Rocco is playing well though.

Defense looking tough so far. Terrific punt, and a good return as well. 2 kickoffs and 2 touch backs. Even with two early holding penalties, the offense is looking ok.

Disagree. I'd like to see us continue to pound the ground game and work out kinks and build confidence in that phase.
